In class this week we only did one round of our tournament. We also watched the first half of the movie, “To Kill A Mockingbird”

Next week students need to finish up reading the book, To kill A Mockingbird as well as complete all work in unit 23.

On Monday we will be having our tournament. Each student has already declared who their person is.
They will each get up and introduce their person and have 3 minutes to tell us why their person should be declared the winner at having the most American Spirit!

Next week is spring break. The following week we will be having our tournament to pick the person with the most American spirit. Homework between now and then is to write at least 12 minutes worth of information On the person chosen. Students need to be prepared to convince the class why they should be chosen!
